Abstract
To gain the optimum regular of the constant runout control system, the kinetic model for MK7-3 arresting gear was established. The arresting performance of aircraft and the constraints were analyzed, and the optimal acceleration curve was carried out. Then, the optimization based on Hicks-Henne function and genetic algorithms (GA) was put forward. The comparison with the original control regular shows that the new control valve is more proper for the arrestment of aircraft. Finally, the kinetic simulation for different engaged speeds, weights and thrusts indicates that different aircrafts can be arrested at a constant distance and the loads on wires and the acceleration of aircrafts are proper, showing the validity and the good performance of the optimized control valve.
