Incremental Antenna Selection Algorithms in Base Station for MIMO Systems

The channel capacity will be greatly influenced in the environment where was surrounded by large amount of scatters, so a new channel model was proposed which based on dynamic MIMO scattering wireless channel. The influence on wireless channel capacity was analyzed which was brought by mobile terminal, and the promotion brought by the antenna selection during moving was discussed. The simulation results show that the channel capacity will become larger with the antenna spacing and expansion angle increase. The channel capacity is lower in mobile environment than that in semi-static environment, and the antenna selection can improve the system capacity effectively.
