Abstract
High-temperature molten aluminum interacting with water often leads to steam explosion. In order to investigate the heat transfer law of high-temperature molten aluminum interacting with water, numerical simulations were conducted about heat transfer when molten aluminum dropped into coolant under different experimental conditions. The temperature variation curves at different observation points were obtained about aluminum of different temperatures and different inlet velocities. The result shows that the higher the entrance velocity and the aluminum temperature, the faster the heat transfers.
