Processing Technology for Truck Dynamic Load Information Based on EMD

  • To get stable vehicle load status information in the vehicle safety monitoring, the voltage signal was processed which is collected by real-time dynamic detection device for vehicle load status base on displacement sensors. According to the characteristics of dynamic load signal, dynamic loads of low frequency in sensor signal was removed by means of empirical mode decomposition (EMD) algorithm, so as to obtain steady vehicles load status information. The processing of cargo vehicle dynamic load information and the result-showing was realized based on the function of LabVIEW software programming. The real vehicle test validation with various load, speed, road environment conditions demonstrate that the measurement error of this system is less than 5%, which meets the requirement of real-time monitoring of vehicle load status.
