The Planning Study of the Ride Car Park

Some disadvantages exist in ride and park lots based on the analysis of factors that influence travelers choose the way of ride car park. This paper proposed a new method based on both HBW travel model and Logit model for park scale determination and site selection of ride car park planning. The new method was applied to ride car park planning in Wuhan. The results show that the proposed method is reasonable. It can help optimize the structure of the urban transportation mode, and ease the traffic pressure in dense areas, and improve the travel convenience. Furthermore, it is a valuable reference to other ride car park planning and designing.
