Research on Aircraft Sortie Generation Rate with the Use of HOL Closed Queueing Network Model

  • To research the sortie generation rate (SGR) of carrier-borne aircrafts, an analytical SGR model based on multi-class, multi-server non-preemptive (HOL) closed queueing network is proposed. Because the exact analytical solution is not available, an approximate method based on reduced work-load assumption and mean value analysis (MVA) iteration is presented. As a result, this approximation method can provide the marginal distribution of customs at each service facility. Then, an example is given. Simulation results and statistical results that show the accuracy and the validity of the method is good were given. Finally, the bottle-neck of the queueing network is analyzed to improve the SGR of carrier-brone aircrafts.
