A LD Power Supply with PWM and PID Feedback Technology

  • To meet the requirements of small volume and high transfer efficiency of LD power supply for laser television, a new LD power supply was designed by using PWM (pulse width modulation) feedback and PID (proportion integration differentiation) feedback technology. Experimental results indicate that the new power supply has 0.5% current ripples and 0.19% (24 hours) coefficient of stability. It also could work well under high speed PWM. The new LD power supply using feedback technologies can not only meet the requirements of laser television, but also have many kinds of expected technical merits.
