Setting Method of Signaled Intersection Entrance Short Lanes About Reversible Lane Traffic Organization

In order to solve the non-rationality of the use of road resources by urban tide traffic flow. This paper introduced the conception of signaled intersection entrance short lanes, and discussed the method of reversible lane to urban road with intersection existed. Moreover, the length of short-lane was used as independent variables to model the capacity of intersection entrance lane. After that, the model was validated and the optimal value of Hd was calculated by the VISSIM simulation. The results showed that the capacity of intersection entrance lanes could be improved by increasing the length of reversible lanes.
