Study on the Network Complexity of a Clustered Urban Public Transit

  • In order to study the network complexity of a clustered urban public transit, the node degree and distribution of cluster-structure and frequency-based public transit network were defined by fully considering the characteristics of cluster-city, and then, this paper study the network complexity by using the complex network theory and simulation. As an example in Lanzhou, the calculation results showed that the degree distributions of Lanzhou public transit network follow exponential distribution either static or frequency, which is as theoretical basis for the design and plan of an urban public transit with cluster-structure.
