Vulnerability Analysis of Passenger Train Flow Network in Emergency

  • To study the efficiency and the reliability of the passenger trains service plan, the passenger train flow network was constructed based on the current national passenger trains service plan. The nodes and edges hybrid dynamic capacity-load model was built to analyze the vulnerability of the passenger train flow network. Further, the efficiency of the train flow network was evaluated using computer simulation under the condition of intentional attack and random breakdown, respectively. The results show that the national passenger train flow network has an obvious vulnerability under intentional attack condition, while it has a strong resistance to the random breakdown. Besides, this study can support the development of the efficient reliable passenger trains service plans.
