Development Strategies of the Low-Carbon Transport System

To reduce the carbon emission of transportation and suggest policies of the low-carbon transport system, the pilot cities projects organized by Ministry of Transport were introduced. Also the experiences and the problems in the project were analyzed. Based on the factor decomposition model of transport carbon emission, the impact factors of the transport sector carbon emissions and the way to reduce carbon emission were discussed. Considering the characteristics of the urbanization process in China, the recommendations of the six aspects of carbon reduction policies were suggested.
