Structure Design of Embedded Interdiction Sub-Munitions

  • In order to interdict the flight deck of aircraft carrier, the program of embedded sub-munitions should be carefully analyzed and designed. With the platform of sub-ammunition as constraint condition, the method of damage probability calculation was adopted. The matching relation between total number of sub-munitions and the diameter of single sub-munitions could be determined. Then, specific structure of this kind of sub-munitions was designed by finite element numerical analysis. Research results show that the designed structure of sub-munitions could realize the tactical function on embedding and interdicting the flight deck of aircraft carrier as well as damaging the launching capacity of aircraft carrier.
