Numerical Simulation of Single Concrete Framework Implosion Demolition

  • To find out the basic law of the concrete frame structure implosion demolition, the model of single concrete framework of ten stories with five-span frame was constructed by using MAT159 software and adopting separating constrained method to simulate reinforced concrete. First, the gravity balance was executed. Then, the numerical simulation was implemented according to the designed different sequences of implosion demolition. From the results of simulation, the collapsed rules could be achieved. Also the criterion to determine the delay time could be put forward.
