Technological Parameter Optimization for Thin-Walled Stainless Steel Tube Bending Based on Grey Theory

  • Since it is very difficult to choose properly process parameters of tube bending, the technology on process parameters optimization in tube bending should be studied. Based on process parameters optimization modeling of tube bending, process parameters optimization technology is proposed in this research, which uses orthogonal experiment method and numerical simulation method to coordinate the distribution of process parameters and applies grey theory to evaluate the group of those process parameters. Case study shows that the example tube has better forming quality after process parameters optimization, which proves that the proposed optimization model and optimization technology are effective.
