Study on the Property of Visible Light Absorption and Infrared Radiation of Fiber Array Conversion Chip

  • To generate infrared dynamic scene, a new visible to infrared transducer film is introduced in this paper, which is fabricated based on micro-structure of processing. This film absorbs visible light and radiates infrared light. It was observed that the absorption rate of visible light could reach 95%. Its infrared emissivity in 3~5 μm spectrum band could be 0.73 while the emissivity in 8~12 μm band could be 0.82. Test results show that the film's property of visible light absorption and infrared radiation can meet the application requirements.
