Quantized State Feedback Control of Networked Control Systems Under Variable-Period Sampling

  • The quantized state feedback control problem for a class of networked control system is studied. The random delay from the sensor to the controller is regarded as the time-varying sampling period. By modeling the networked control systems with time-varying sampling period, random delay and quantization as Markov jumping system, a sufficient condition of the exponentially mean-square stabilization for the system is obtained by Lyapunov stability theory and linear matrix inequality techniques, and a quantized state feedback controller is derived. Finally an example is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
