Abstract
By the aid of cognitive radio technology, a novel cognitive ultrawideband (UWB) orthogonal pulses designing method based on the eigenvector of Hermite matrix and Rayleigh signal is presented for narrow band interference suppression. Simulation results show that the power spectral density (PSD) distribution of proposed adaptive UWB pulses can meet the FCC UWB indoor and outdoor spectral norms and realize adaptive spectral notches. Finally, through the analysis and simulation of suppressing multi-user interference (MUI) and narrow-band interference (NBI) in 2PPM-TH and 2PAM-TH UWB systems, it could be proved that the cognitive UWB pulses have predominant anti-interference performance.
