Abstract
The medium access control(MAC) protocol is also important for airborne Ad hoc network in order to reduce time division multiple access(TDMA) overhead, increasing TDMA throughput, and decrease end-to-end delay. Our proposed token slot scheduling described in this paper allow the exchange of control information in an efficient and contention free manner such that each participating node can, in real time, converge to a consistent TDMA schedule. The dynamic resource needs of participating nodes can be rapidly accommodated for quality of service (QoS) guarantees. The scheduling algorithms are topology independent and require the nodes states to assignment right slot to each node in order to adapt to changing wireless network topologies dynamically.
