Ontology-Based Knowledge Modeling

To improve the efficiency of knowledge retrieval, the method of ontology-based knowledge modeling is proposed. According to the corresponding relationship between knowledge and domain ontology, the knowledge modeling process has been found by considering two aspects in parallel: domain ontology construction and knowledge representation. Domain ontology construction is described by OWL, and the subject of ontology-based knowledge representation is discussed in detail. This approach ensures the consistency of the scope of ontology and knowledge. Also the feedback of ontology application is considered in modeling, which is beneficial to improvement or extension of ontology.
