BPR Performance Evaluation Method Based on DEA/AHP Hybrid Model

To deal with the complexity of performance evaluation for BPR, taking a system approach and regarding BPR as an in-out system, a set of indices with multiple inputs and multiple outputs is proposed based on resource investment supporting system of BPR. Combine with the characteristics of the aggressive cross-evaluation in DEA method and the analytic hierarchy process(AHP) method, the DEA/AHP model was built to evaluate the performance of business process. This hybrid model was used to evaluate the performance of various reengineered business process for CJ Machinery Manufacturer Company. The results indicate that the proposed method is reasonable and practicable. It provides a feasible and effective method for performance evaluation of BPR. It also provides a strong basis for further improvement.
