Generalized Confidence Interval of Steady State Availability for a Special Repairable System

  • Generalized confidence interval of steady state availability of a repairable system was studied through Weerahandis generalized inference method. The repairable system was under lognormal operating time with unknown parameters and inverse Gaussian repair time. The simulation results demonstrate that the generalized confidence intervals based on generalized p-value method have satisfactory performance in terms of empirical coverage probability.
