Generalized Confidence Interval of Steady State Availability for a Special Repairable System

Abstract
Generalized confidence interval of steady state availability of a repairable system was studied through Weerahandis generalized inference method. The repairable system was under lognormal operating time with unknown parameters and inverse Gaussian repair time. The simulation results demonstrate that the generalized confidence intervals based on generalized p-value method have satisfactory performance in terms of empirical coverage probability.
