Investigation of Surface Tension Solver Based on VOF Method in Euler Meshes

  • In order to attest that surface tension can embarrass drop deformation and breakup.CSF model is used to disperse surface tension item based on VOF method in Euler meshes. Drop deformation and breakup are simulated due to shock wave and an extensional flow. The result indicated that Bussmann model could solve dispersion problem of surface tension.
