A Set of Empirical Formulas for Calculation of Atmospheric Dispersion Coefficients

  • A set of empirical formulas used to calculate the atmospheric dispersion coefficients are fitted by Marquardt method according to the data of D. Bruce Turner. These 5-parameter formulas can represent well the data in the whole range from 0.01 to 100.00km for the horizontal direction. For the vertical direction if the range is divided into two subranges. The maximum absolute error is less than 40m, and maximum relative error is less than 5%.
