Integrated Visualization Methods in Environment Test Simulation

  • Integrated visualization of various data collected from different resources in ETS(environment test simulation)gives more insight into their respective relations and patterns. Two kinds of integrated visualization methods are studied to give this capability. One method is to integrate the FEA result and the test data together, it uses position matching and mapping method to generate node data on basis of test data and FEA results, and plots the generated data on 3D FEA model, which changes the 2D waveform for test data visualization, not only gives better visual effect, but also increases the relativity and integrity of visualization. The other method is to integrate numerical simulation data and environment model together, which changes the way of visualizing the isolated simulation results, 3D slice texture based on TSP-tree and geometry slabs sorting are used to hybrid render the integrated results. These methods give global contexts about the data and provide an effective auxiliary analysis tools for the ETS.
