Abstract
A new method namely DE-FLAC3D based on differential evolution(DE) and combined with FLAC3D, is proposed for the identification of the global optimum parameters. DE algorithm is a newly developed global optimization technique with excellent performance and simple to implement. At first, stochastic parameters are initialized, difference in particle velocity between the numerical results and in-situ measurements is regarded as fitness value to evaluate quality of the parameters. Then, the parameters are updated continually using DE rule until the optimal parameters are found. Thus the parameters are identified adaptively during a back analysis process. Results of applications to blasting test in Longtan showed that the method is feasible and efficient. The method can improve the precision significantly for numerical simulation in vibration characteristics of rock mass under explosion load.
