Abstract
A novel synchronization protocol is presented, giving the extension of third party reference broadcast and concerned with the deployed density of WSN nodes. The third party reference messages are replaced by synchronization messages, and each node only need send two synchronization messages. Additional information is carried securely in synchronization message to increase the number of reference points, and to increase synchronization precision. Relation between precision and nodes density is proved. Finally, validation is done in the evaluation system, and the validity is evaluated and compared with the typical algorithms. Further examination is done to validate the relation of precision and nodes density.
