A Study on the Brake Torque Asympototic Characteristics for Disc Brakes

Introduces the concept of braking torque asymptotic characteristics based on disc brake and evaluation parameters, and studies on the braking torque asymptotic characteristics. According to the constant pressure braking tests under separated conditions of different initial braking temperature, braking pressure and initial braking velocity on the disc braking using the brake dynamometer, the braking torque asymptotic characteristic is affected in various levels by the initial temperature of the brake, braking pressure and initial braking velocity. The law of action is analyzed based on factors combined with the evaluation parameters.
