Abstract
The controlled synthesis of NH<sub<4</sub<Zr<sub<2</sub<(PO<sub<4</sub<)<sub<3</sub<(AZP) microcrystals with different morphologies was successfully achieved by carefully adjusting the experimental parameters via a mild solvothermal processing. AZP crystals with the morphology of the truncated and sheet-like tetrahedron were paid more attention to and the formation mechanism had been speculated. The phase and microstructure of the AZP products with high-crystallinity were confirmed by powder X-ray diffraction(XRD) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM).
