Abstract
Communication network theories are utilized in modelling and programming optimization of transportation networks.Characteristics of transportation networks are analysed and taken as fixed-length IP packages transporting in fixed-bandwidth and fixed-node-exchangeability communication networks.Graphic theory is used for ways and crossings optimizing in path and capacity with minimum engineering investment.Programming of interchanges can be analyzed as a multi-point connecttion by each pair of uni-directional path between each two ports.By adding a medium point, the number of ways needed to build for 5-port and 6-port interchanges can be reduced from 20 and 30 to 18 and 24.Queuing theory is used to analyze the mathematical distribution of the ways and nodes blocked up.Calculation results of mathematical models showed that the above techniques can offer theoretical tools to support evaluation in transportation environment, programming and optimizing of the transportation networks.
