Numerical Simulation on Natural Supercavity Based on Disk-Cavitator with Variable Attack Angle

  • Supercavity is simulated using the Navier-Stikes equations with standard kε turbulence model and modified Rayleigh-Plesset equations based on the structured mesh.Research shows that the simulation result of full three dimensional disk-cavitator is consistent with the empirical formulas.The problem of numerical simulation on supercavity induced by disk-cavitator with attack angle is solved.The shape,lift and drag characteristics of supercavity induced by disk-cavitator with attack angle are analyzed in detail.The best of attack angle disk-cavitator with attack angle are summarized.
