Presentation and Application of an Adaptive Proportional Combination Demosaicking Algorithm

  • Resolve demosaicking problems in application,and a new adaptive proportional combination algorithm is presented.G channel interpolation method in proportional combination,and the grids of G channel is used to calibrate the errors of bilinear interpolation of R and B channels.On aspects of composite peak signal noise ratio(CPSNR) and computation,the adaptive proportional combination algorithm is compared with several other typical demosaicking methods.The proportional combination algorithm fits practical application for some CPSNR with less computation.The algorithm is employed in a multiple channel CMOS image sampling system and the application test results are excellent.
