A Stable Disjoint Multipath Ant Routing Algorithm in MANETs

A new scheme—stable disjoint multipath ant routing algorithm(SDMAR) is presented.Based on prediction model and energy model,SDMAR depends on joint parameters of node's energy and time-to-life to probabilistic forwarding and provides a high number of redundant and already graded paths to the destination.When the best path fails,the algorithm immediately uses the next available path.Simulation results showed that compared with DSR and AOMDV,the packet delivery ratio of SDMAR is increased about 8%,the routing load reduced 25% and the energy consumption saved 15%.
