Effect of Diamond Back Wing Geometric Parameters to the Aerodynamic Characteristics

Wind tunnel experiments were conducted to study the effect of Diamond Back wing geometric parameters to its aerodynamic characteristics.A series of wind tunnel experiment models with various Diamond Back wings were designed with a modularized method.Experimental results indicate that the lift and the lift-drag ratio of the configuration with higher front-wing-strip,lower rear-wing-strip are higher than the configuration with lower front-wing-strip and higher rear-wing-strip.The space between the front-wing-strip and the rear-wing-strip has less influence to the aerodynamic characteristics of the Diamond Back wing.
