Design of Programmable Controller in Small-Sized Hydropower Stations

  • Modularization and buses are used in the design.The controller is used to improve the working conditions in small-sized hydropower stations, and to attain higher economic benefits.The controller consists of the CPU, power unit, input board, output board, and A/D board.DSP50F807 is used as the central processor, the CPLD(complex programmable logic device) controls the signals.The device communicates through RS232 and RS485.These improvements enhance the processing speed and resistance to disturbances.
