Abstract
In order to investigate the phenomenon that holograms tend to be deteriorated on baing recorded in photopolymers with shrinkage,a Fourier hologram is taken with slant gratings formed by the reference beam and object beams of different space-frequency.Wave coupling theory shows that changes of different slant gratings are different in diffraction efficiency, while the photopolymer shrinks. The worse the photopolymer shranks, the worse is the hologram reconstructed.Experiments proved that the analysis is correct and showed that photopolymer without shrinkage can be used to rectify this phenomenon.
