Synthesis and Crystal Structure of Bis1-（4-Methoxyphenyl）-3-（1H-1,2,4-Triazol-1-yl）-1-Propanone-N⁴ Dichorocobalt（Ⅱ） Complex

Bis1-（4-methoxyphenyl）-3-（1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl）-1-propanone-N⁴ dichorocobalt（Ⅱ） complex was synthesized and the crystal structure determined by X-ray crystallography. It crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group C2/c group, with lattice parameters a=（2.100 8（4） nm,） b=0.488 88（10） nm, c=2.627 4（5） nm, β=98.10（3）°, V=2.671 5（9） nm³, （Z=）4, D_c=1.473 g/cm³. It has C₂ symmetry with its axis through the Co atom, and the Co atom was coordinated by two N atoms of the 1-（4-methoxyphenyl）-3-（1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl）-1-propanone ligands and two Cl^- atoms, forming a slightly distorted tetrahedron. IR and electronic spectra study of the target complex were carried out.
