Abstract

The symmetry and the conserved quantity of a Lagrange system are studied. The definition and the criterion of a Noether-Lie symmetry for the Lagrange system, as well as the Noether conserved quantity and the Hojman conserved quantity deduced from the Noether-Lie symmetry for the system are given. Applications of the results are shown by two examples.
