Investigation on the Dust Sedimentation of Electrostatic Cyclonic Air Filters with Back Dispersion Method

  • An online study on the sedimentation characteristic of electrostatic cyclonic air filter is carried out with the Kompton back dispersion method. Relationship between the sedimentation characteristic and the collecting efficiency is analyzed. When the inlet velocity is fixed, the sedimentation thickness increases with time and concentration, and sedimentation increases along the axis. The efficiency of collection increases with the inlet velocity and concentration. When the concentration and inlet velocity are fixed, the collection efficiency dropped a little because the electrostatic effect decreases with sedimentation on the collection wall.
