Treating Dyeworks Wastewater by Processing in Hydrolytic-Biological Aerated Filter

  • A process of treating dyeworks wastewater is studied. The wastewater is first hydrolyzed in the reactor and its biodegradability is improved, Then the wastewater is treated in biological aerated filter. Test results showed that the efficency of this process was stable and feasible. The average removal rate of CODcr, BOD<SUB<5</SUB<, SS, and chromaticity was 84.3%,92%,69.6%,86.4% respecitvely. The quality of effluent meets the national discharging standard.
