Convenient Method of Circular Array Near/Far Field Calculation

A convenient method of circular array near/far field calculation is studied. The calculation for both the near field and the far field of a circular array is carried through by getting the sum of the radiation field due to each element, without the introduction of any approximation. This can save much of the computing time. The validity of this method is proved by comparing the results calculated and the published data. It can be widely applied in antenna analysis as it can be implemented easily.
