Biomechanical Measurements and Analysis on the Sole of Human Foot

  • The balance of forces and pressures acting upon human foot is studied. Kistler insoles for the measurement of forces and pressures were used. Soldiers and students are choosen for the measurement. By the use of the pedar-mobile system, data about the human foot during walking, running and jumping were collected. Conditions of burdening some weight and not burdening any weight were included. Forces were composed and summed up at the center point of the ankle. As a whole the forces and pressures on the feet are balanced during walking and running. Yet it is not easy to attain a balance during jumping. But with trained people, they can be remarkably improved. The study can have important significance in the effective training of athletes and paratroopers and in studying the damnification mechanism and correlative pathology.
