Design of a Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation System for SINS/GPS of Air Ammunition

  • Based on the structure of the SINS/GPS integrated navigation system used in air ammunition, the paper gives the design of framework for the hardware-in-the-loop simulation system, probes at the problem of clock synchronization for the machine, tests the computational performance of navigational computer in SINS and the correcting effect of GPS message. Simulations are performed to indicate that the algorithm of the navigation computer is correct; that precision and delay in computation can meet the requirements of the control system and that the correcting effect of GPS message is satisfactory. SINS/GPS integrated navigation system can be applied to the control and guidance systems in air ammunition.
