Abstract
In order to realize digital image stabilization in real-time, a image processing board with TI C6711 DSP is designed. In this system, two dual-port RAM chips are respectively used as in- and out- cache for data transference, with data switching from 8 bits to 32 bits using 4 banks, and a CPLD chip responsible for the core logic controlling and video synchronization. The inter chip cache is configured in an efficient way, and EDMA is used for data transferring. Inner functions and linear stream technologies are discussed for software optimization, thus accelerates the algorithm execution. Real-time digital image stabilization is in this way realized.
