Data Extraction, Transformation and Loading Tools in a Data Warehouse

Studies the data warehouse architecture and illustrates different methods of data loading. In the process of implementation, the idea of workflow is introduced. A series of tools are proposed and discussed for data extraction, cleansing, transformation and loading, that are based on the management of metadata and workflow. Some concepts which describe the elements of ETL process are defined. A solution is proposed as a scalable, configurable and effective way out for data migration.
