Robust Control for a Non-Minimum-Phase Helicopter in Hover

  • A study on the method of design is presented for helicopter hover with non minimum phase unstable characteristics. Feedback system may inherently lead to excessive sensitivity properties, thus robustness in control is achieved using the "blending" design technique and a concrete design procedure is given. The "blending" design technique is given through an example helicopter design and the applicability of the above design technique is also indicated by simulation.
