Estimation of Fuze Storage Life Based on Stepped Stress Accelerated Life Testing

Abstract
On the basis of introducing the principle of stepped stress accelerated life testing, by analyzing the mechanism of failure under storage conditions and making pretests, accelerated life testing stress and the level of stress of fuzes are determined. Mathematical model of data processing and method of estimating storage life are set up. Based on test data and method of data processing, the reliable storage life of fuzes approximating 17 years under normal stress levels is predicted.
