Application of MapObject Control in the Multimedia Software for an Intelligent Building District

Studies the application of MapObject control in multimedia software for an intelligent building district. MapObject is an ActiveX control with object oriented programming. It manages the electronic map by displaying a map having multiple layers, and connects the layers with database files. This means that the management of objects has a correspondence with that of the database. The method turns out to be convenient in applying the MapObject control to implement the function of an electronic map. It can be extended to the intelligent management of a city.
