Fuzzy Logic Reasoning Method Based Detection and Recognition of Battlefield Targets

  • Explores the effectiveness of detection and classification according to the characteristics of acoustic and seismic signal of battlefield targets, based on the fuzzy set theory and fuzzy logic reasoning method by analyzing the information uncertainty of target signal, the membership functions suited for target detection and target identification are constructed, and fuzzy reasoning rules are proposed. A fuzzy logic reasoning system for battlefield surveillance is set up to detect and identify the targets. It is demonstrated that the fuzzy logic has higher correct detection and identification rates for acoustic and seismic signals of battlefield targets according to target signal sample experiments, and the cassifier using fuzzy logic is suitable for the detection and classification of battlefield targets.
