Experimental Method for the Antibacterial Effect of Antibacterial Zeolite

X Cu 2+ carrying antibacterial zeolite was prepared through liquid phase ion exchange. The antibacterial properties of this Cu antibacterial zeolite against Escherichia coli (8099), Bacterium pyocyaneum (ATCC27853), Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC6538) and Bacillus cereus were found to be excellent. The antibacterial rates attained were found to be in excess of 99 99%. Furthermore, experimental method of quantifying the antibacterial rate was improved.
