Synthesis of 4-Hydroxyphenethyl Anisate Existing as an Effective Component in Notopterygium incisum Ting
Hydroxyphenethyl anisate, a natural compound existing in the Chinese medicinal herb Notopterygium incisum Ting and related intermediates have been synthesized from 4 hydroxy benzoic acid and methyl 4 hydroxyphenylacetate. Molecular structure of the compound has been verified through elemental analysis, IR, 1HNMR and MS spectroscopy.
